Love Should Not Hurt: Letting Go of the Pain to Live in Freedom is my true story about life as a domestic abuse survivor. I escaped my violent relationship before my abuser had the chance to finally follow through with his threats and attempts to end my life. Leaving an abuser is dangerous, but staying is life-threatening as well. After the escape, came the strong emotions and there are right ways to heal and wrong ways to heal. Despite what has led you to shut out those around you, this book tells the story of healing and finding freedom from the emotional prison we may build around ourselves.
