They still escaped your confinement, wormed their way into the shadows, and graced the ears of sinister beings craving nothing more than to indulge them.
What should’ve been a routine end-of-term exam period for Kari spirals into a series of events that reshapes her view of reality forever. It all began innocently enough. Tales of a spiritual prankster, whose sole purpose is the theft of every heeled shoe on campus, drives Kari’s logical nature to dismiss the rumors as superstitious nonsense. But every theory needs evidence to be proven. If only it were ‘just’ a ghost at the end of this rabbit hole.
