The Sharps Shooter

Jim Bridger was 9 years old when his parents were murdered on their Western Montana ranch. Since Jim had no relatives he was taken in by the neighboring rancher, a domesticated mountain man, who taught Jim everything he knew about the mountains and life in general. When Jim turned 19 years of age he witnessed a murder by Gus Grissom, the forman of the largest ranch in Western Montana.The incident resulted in Jim killing Gus when he tried to arrest him.. As a result of this gun fight the foreman's, boss, Harry Godel wants to kill Jim. Since the town does not have a sheriff, and because of Jim's skill, they offered to make him the sheriff. Jim decides to take the job so that he can try and prove who killed his parents. As a result of his appointment Jim has a running battle with Harry Godel, the largest rancher in the area.
