Twenty-ninth Infantry: The Blue and Gray Division of WWII

The combat infantryman’s battlefield experiences are told from their own words taken from over one hundred first person accounts. She tells of the unbelievable discovery of her father’s foxhole buddy while researching the book who was with him the night he was killed in December 1944. His accounts helps fill in the gaps of documentary history (radio logs and so forth) on the last major battles of the 116th Infantry Regiment.
