Kara Vogel Farnam lived among the Amish in Cherry Creek, having visited their stores since her mom, Karen Anna Vogel, toted her around in diapers. Today, Kara and Karen are still learning from Amish friends about simplicity, frugal living and taking life slow. She is a pastry chef, having been inspired by Amish bakers.
