I Choose Life

Chastity Desiree Scott-Brown is the daughter of a drug addicted former pimp, Michael Brown. She is born into a world where love and protection are alien to her. At the hands of her father Young Chastity experiences the type of pain and hurt that most people only read about. She learns that feeling pain, or causing pain, is the only way she can feel better. The only way she can ease the emptiness, she feels, even if it is just a little. As she grows into young adulthood life becomes a little more unbearable, especially when she loses her child and then the only man she loves Ishmael, which causes her to eventually have a mental breakdown. Now Chastity must make a critical life decision. She must decide if the desire to cause pain to others is worth sacrificing the rest of her life.
