Illustrated with many historical photographs and documents on their life in Lithuania and the places to where they migrated. Some stayed in Lithuania, only to suffer in the Holocaust. This volumes tells of how the Rolniks from Telsiai emigrated to Johannesburg and Heilbron in South Africa and to London. It tells of a donkey load of Hebrew books that fortunately delayed a ship, of finding a gold mine in the Orange Free State, of the effect of the Boer War and the Maritz Rebellion on the fortunes of a Rolnick, and of the sad death of another in the Kurland of Latvia.
