After graduating from Arizona State with a degree in broadcast journalism, Michelle Mitchell lands a job as a reporter on the mean streets of Detroit. The job has its challenges but Michelle loves being a reporter.
Jason Burks, AKA ,Mercedes Jay is back on easy street, after beating a murder charge and getting a new connect. When he meets the girl of his dreams life just couldn't get any better. Little does he know that the brother of the man he murdered was just released from a Ohio State prison with two things etched in his brain:money and murder. Jay tries to hide his criminal ties to hold on to the best things that's ever happened to him but when bloodshed begins to spill all around him Michelle begins to connect the dots. Who will win in the tale of love and war and at what cost?
