Guitarist Art Bolt, a one-hit wonder, lives in the past. In 1965, he performed on a recording which made the L.A. charts, but his musical career was short-lived. After years of oblivion going to seed he emerges as the singing gardener on the Central California Coast in the early 70s.
A dreamer, Art is content being the eclectic, electric singing gardener. And it pays the bills. Finally in control, his life becomes uncomplicated. The gardening business gives him stability and a sense of well-being until 1984, when the ghost of Anna Abbati, a former client, shakes him from his complacency.
