The Narratives of Christ: Unsearchable Riches

John declares, “No man hath seen God at any time; the only begotten Son, which is in the bosom of the Father, he hath declared him” (John 1:18) The writer to the Hebrews informs us that Jesus is “ the brightness of God’s glory, and the express image of his person. In Christ dwells all the fullness of the godhead bodily. In Christ are hidden all the treasures of wisdom and knowledge. When we examine the life of Christ, we are allowed to see and understand the eternal, invisible and immortal God. Jesus Himself declared, “if you have seen Me, you have seen My Father.

The four accounts of the gospel are both a declaration and an unveiling of God in the person of Jesus Christ. I hope this reflection of the Life of Christ will stir you to seek and experience the unsearchable riches of Christ.
