Veronica Sayers expected women to flirt with her husband, but shortly after the former attorney enters full-time ministry, she begins to lose him to a mistress of a different kind. When Michael's congregation triples in size, ministry leaders from around the country seek out the young Dallas pastor to learn the secret of his success. Speaking engagements lead to a radio show and a book contract. He needs Veronica to help him manage his heavy schedule and ends up treating her as an assistant. Veronica sets out to get Michael's attention.
