Chaos Magic

From a stone tower to the west of London the Medieval magus John Dee once summoned angelic forces; forces that reputedly played a large part in the evolutionary step-forward that ushered in that golden age, the Renaissance.

Now, from atop a tower made from glass and titanium, to the east of the city something similar is happening. This time however the forces being invoked are anything but angelic; for Chaos Magic is being used to unseal the gates of the Mauve Zone, allowing dark forces into our world.

Meanwhile across the city there has been a spate of murders - the naked bodies of young women are inexplicably appearing in the parks and churchyards of the city. Detective Z is sent to investigate but finding no clues he turns to phenomenologist Darren Sprawl in order to solve these grisly murders. Their efforts are however beset with problems – Professor Sprawl’s admittedly deep knowledge of the occult is unfortunately entirely academic and Detective Z is a broken man. Soon the investigation is spiralling out of control, leading to a place of terrifying darkness.
