Dale is very annoyed about his jobless condition. This continues until he meets Richard, his high school friend, now wealthy and owns a movie studio in Hollywood. Richard turns Dale’s life around with his wealth
and fame. But behind his magnanimity is a plot to snatch Nancy from Dale. Dale does not know this, and falls for Richard’s plot in the
end as a result of his excessive love for money. Rooney is Dale’s
eighteen years old son who dreams to play for one of England’s top
football clubs. He is in love with a woman that is twenty eight years old. Katy is her name. Katy happens to have worked in Dale’s family as
a Nanny and nursed Rooney as a little boy. Katy can’t stand Rooney who
pesters her with his feelings. She knows deep down her heart that she feels love for him too. But she is already engaged to John, a- twenty-eight-year old man. And she is focused on helping him find success as a singer. Katy becomes instrumental to John’s signing by
the record label, EMI, by introducing him to her friend Jane, who is in charge of talents acquisition at EMI and also the daughter of the founder and CEO of the record label, in the person of Kevin. Unknown to Katy, an affair thrives between John and Jane, and ruins her chance of getting married to John. This lands Katy in pain and anguish. Meanwhile Kevin, who is a divorcee, desperately wants Katy to be his wife. Now Katy is heart-broken and torn between seeking revenge and resigning to the whims and caprices of fate, which is bent on crossing her path with that of Rooney once again.
