Children's Books: Danny and his Magic

A long time ago, in my grandparent’s small town, I met the main character of this special story.
I remember Dani because of two reasons. The first one is his intelligence and the second is because he used to have a particular hobby: Magic.
Dani was six years old, redheaded and an only child.
He was convinced that with magic you were able to guess other people's thoughts and, appear and disappear things. One day Dani confessed to me: “Sometimes I think that my mom is a magician”.
That same evening, by chance, I saw for the first time Dani’s mother; however this woman seemed a bit far off from the “magician” I imagined and even my new friend started to realize that his mom was somewhat "different”.
But Dani didn’t give up, so he tried his best to show he was right.
Dani used all his knowledge on magic to change that awkward situation. The experience I lived that summer evening with my friend is, without question, something that I'll carry with me the rest of my life.
