The Table at the Centre: Towards a Kingdom Vision of the Lord's Supper

This short ebook examines the previously very sparse pickings of Vineyard theological writing on the Lord's Supper. Exploring the key text of 1 Corinthians 11: 17-34, through a ‘Kingdom Lens’, the author hopes to expand and explore an explicitly Vineyard, that is to say, evangelical and Charismatic, approach to this vital sacrament. In doing so, and emphasising the Gospel-nature of this meal and kind of worship, the author also intends to speak a little into Vineyard ecclesiology. Very much a work in progress, this ebook represents an expansion on a paper, and is a doorway into the author’s present research in systematic theology.
