After the death of her father, his tempestuous daughter Prairie takes over the running of the Rosetta ranch. It's a big responsibility and things don't always go smoothly for the young ranch owner - a woman determined to prove she is as capable as any man. But things begin to change with the arrival of Cash, the big handsome cowboy. One of the first things he does is to get rid of the lecherous thug, Rowdy Briggs, and he soon makes his presence felt in other ways.
