Here is a short story about time travel that will answer some of your questions on what you would do if you were able to travel back in time – for just one day of your choice.
What day would you really choose? It’s harder than you think. Why do I say that? Well consider the dynamics of actually going back in time. For instance, if you went back to the time beyond your own birth, could you do something to interrupt the process of your own conception? It could be dangerous to change even the most simple of things. There are many ways to look at this.
It is easy to say what you would do with that one day perhaps. Now knowing the lottery numbers, you would go back to the time when it was a rollover say, and then your life would be great. Then your son is killed in that new super car he was able to buy. Your loved one leaves you because he or she is able to associate with all the trendy sexy rich people and succumbs to temptation. Get the picture? It’s not as simple as it looks. Change just one thing and it could get complicated.
In my short story which is based on a true story though intertwined with pure fiction, it involves a first love when I was young. I wanted to put something right that I had messed up some decades ago. Remember, this is a novel but written in a new and challenging style by using a true and factual story but introducing the fictional element of time travel.
So, if you find yourself wondering which day you would choose and what you would do when you got there, find out what I did when I got there and why.

Really good read - well written and engrossing. Couldn't decide if true or not. Probably result of medication author was on; or was it?.

This story is well written and the event s described are so believable that it was difficult to put down, Well done Christopher Dawber!
