Description
This novella is an introduction to the Metamythology, a series that reinterprets world history and sees the roles of countries played by gods as their mortal supporters each represent a city in that country. Reading this work not only teaches history in a new and unique way, but it offers the reader a chance to participate in the goal of this series: to influence what happens next in our world's story.
The Song of the Sun God Acierma is a retelling of the history of the United States, beginning when the rebel 13 bring about the birth of a new god and ending when he must confront his destiny - just as the US finds itself at a turning point in its own history. Readers will watch history unfold without knowing it, and they will look at a familiar story with new perspective that conceals the savages of warfare as divine battles of the gods.
This is a rich, yet simple allegory that allows centuries of history to be distilled into easily digested stories. This 0th edition of this work is being offered to encourage participation while also raising funds and awareness of this project. Through introducing the allegorical elements of the mythology, the hope is to encourage participation in the reform suggested within this book; where others will create myths about their countries and cities so they can be woven together into the Metamythology, its aim is to use the proceeds to organize the response symbolized by the Spirit of Wisdom. It is a small first step in something ambitious, the seed that allows me to look for others who want to fight worldwide corruption to ask, "Are you out there?"
