I've examined it all. There are four factors to success:

The right idea at the right time that people will pay for.

Luck.

Knowledge of the nuts and bolts of business.

The mental-spiritual ability to stay inspired.

This book is about factor #4.

The seven books about the philosophy, religion, psychology and New Age knowledge and wisdom about making money and getting filthy rich are as follows:

The operative term to success in life is to serve others. Give them what they want or need. If they don’t know they need it yet, show them how it will help improve or simplify their lives. Don’t be frivolous. Do something that helps people in some way. Find a need and fill it.

What can you do to help others so that they will pay for it?

Have a friendly personality.

Have a plan or specific goal.

Work on it everyday.

Believe in it. It should be a passion you feel within yourself from your true nature.

Have mentors. Find people who are successful doing what you want to do. Ask them if you can talk to them, work with them or follow them around here and there. If you can’t find a mentor, read biographies of people in your field.

Be willing to learn from others. Many people can’t because of ego.

Make connections by meeting and socializing with people who can help you somehow.

The law of attraction is New Age bull. It’s more about a Christian desire to be a humble servant out to help people for a fee. People aren’t stupid. They try you out with a small task and will only give you big opportunities if you prove yourself at the lowest level.

What is negativity and depression? A guy like me trying to make living as a writer knows all about it. Creative people get rejected like crazy. What choice do you have? You can put a bullet through your head, lay in bed all the day or say the world is screwed, I don’t care, I’m here to do my thing as positively as I can and if I end up homeless then I’ll kill myself but until then, I’ll do the work because nothing else interests me anyway except for doing something inspired.

They say don’t have a negative mindset. I think every wage slave has lost their soul. How do you stay inspired everyday when you’re working an average job? Then if you’re like me and try to make a living based on your creative ideas, you quickly learn that all that stuff you saw on TV about frivolous lifestyles of creative people is garbage. Life is hard. Don’t listen to rosy bull. Most people work relentlessly to make it.

A few people fluke out and they’re paraded on TV as success stories. That’s capitalist propaganda geared to give you hope, usually false hope.

There will always be setbacks and downtimes. Stay strong.

You don’t get what you think about. Thoughts are irrelevant. Actions count. Plenty of rosy people crash and burn. I know lots of depressed people who are successful because all they do is work. It doesn’t uplift them but it keeps them going.

Practice your craft all the time.

You can master anything by working at it everyday.

It’s about the person you become in life.

Define happiness. Your goal is happiness, not money, feeling good all the time.

Are you a glutton or do you want to help people? Most people are gluttons. They work their average then go home and gorge on food and entertainment.

At the end of every day, all you got is your health, your mind and soul and your loved ones.

If you’re like me, you’re a creator.
