Numbers Cool Book: 1-100

This book was conceived, written, and illustrated by James Brian Jaeger when he was five years old because of his love for numbers. Each number has a short description of what that number is doing, along with an illustration depicting the action. If you have a child who is interested in numbers, writing, drawing, or just being creative, this book can serve as inspiration. The imagination of a child is quite powerful, and the Numbers Cool Book proves that young minds can do more than be babysat by an electronic device. Kids want to learn and express themselves, so let your kids experience this book and then write something themselves. All of the words are by James, though we did write down most of his thoughts because he could not write when he began composing the book, which took about six months to create.

Whether your child loves counting or just needs practice, this is a great book to use. Maybe you want your kid to do more than sit back and become a passive recipient of videos. This is an interactive book because it encourages creativity. It's not written by someone famous or an adult who studied child psychology. Your kids will appreciate the honesty, but they'll also see the opportunity to join the conversation and begin their own masterpieces.

Think about it: how many of you (who aren't authors) have written something more than 100 pages long? How many times have you hand-drawn something rather than copied and pasted it from the internet?
