Welcome to The Wallow, a backwater prison buried in a backwater planet where the most reviled, the most hated, the most desperate and unrelenting of criminals are culled from the great world-spanning civilizations and buried alive to face death.

Locked away without food, without water, without hope, miserable beings – humans and aliens, alike – claw and choke and gasp in a desperate attempt to survive for just one more day, one more hour, one more tortured gasp of breath.

“Life to the End” is a tale of two such desperate prisoners, a man at the start of his term and an alien at the end of his, and how they come together, and come apart, in an arrangement that tests their very souls ... and reveals a startling truth about them and the galaxy they have little hope of seeing again.
