Angus vs the Pirate Horde (Cadet Magnum Book 15)

A horde of pirates from the far side of the galaxy invade the territory of the Empire, looting and pillaging as they go and jumping to faraway places before the Patrol can confront them. On one raid they abduct Helen. When Angus finally finds them, he has to fight someone with an amulet like his own. Fighting in static time, where nothing works, they are forced to use only primitive weapons with Helen's life in the balance.
