Safara, feeling out of place in a country where being different isn’t tolerated, discovers that she has remarkable hidden powers. With sea levels rising, volcanoes erupting, and other calamities occurring, the planet is heading towards disaster and there is no one to stop it.
Meeting Tam, a young man who is as noticeably different as she is, leads Safara to her discovery of Songlight and the key to unlocking the power that will save the world.
