Aspects of the Rite: Part One of the Aspects of the Rite series

In the 1700s, an elusive political act entitled 'The Rite' was enacted upon the majority of the world's capitals. Not much was said to the public, yet people followed it blindly. It was designed as a way of life, a method for people to follow to preserve the perfect balance of peace in their lives, by balancing twelve different Aspects of their life. But, due to human nature, it fell apart. All the perfection mated with the wickedness that was kept out, creating chaos. Driven by forces unknown, some say Gods and some say witchcraft, twelve people began to display powers corresponding to the Aspects. They were worshipped as Gods.

Now, in the modern day, the Aspects fell apart and were outcast. Yoru Hayashi is a Japanese teen who has inherited the Aspect of Aggression. The infamous criminal syndicate, Crimson Star, are making a move to resurrect the Aspects of Wicked. Yoru, along with the remaining Aspects, must stop them before they push humanity to extinction.
