Open is a story of love that is anything but ordinary. Simone and her husband make the decision to open their relationship and embark on a journey of discovery about the definition of love. Is it possible to be in love with your husband while maintaining a sexual relationship with another man? Open explores the nontraditional marriage of a young couple and how the seemingly private choices they make in their bedroom spill over into the rest of their lives through a mix of free verse, dialogue and narrative.
