Description
This petite book is a compilation of short stories. It is about certain foods that remind her of a loved one or friend or an experience in the past. For example, red vines reminds the author about her first day in Kindergarten and how she had a difficult time adjusting to her new environment and how she cried her first day, but her Kindergarten teacher Mrs. Willet calmed her by offering her a piece of red vine. Macarons and Blue bottle coffee remind her of a time when she worked for the San Francisco Symphony as a sales agent. Micheladas reminds her of a time when she broke up with her girlfriend and how her brother made her micheladas. This book is about a celebration of life and how we celebrate with food, drinks, and desserts.
