10 is a collection of short stories that span the realm of human nature from the fantastical to the dark and sordid. Characters learn about life, self sacrifice, and the consequences of their actions through a myriad of environments. Whether based on Earth in the near future or someplace billions of light years across the cosmos in an unfathomable time frame, nothing interferes with the basic context that makes up mankind...the urge to learn, grow, and survive. In many ways, this compilation is like a good soup: human nature is the base ingredient that is steeped in a broth of Science Fiction and seasoned with a dash of Fantasy, a pinch of Horror, and a granule or two of Humor. Hopefully, when you reach the end of it, you’re not saying, ‘I should have ordered the sandwich.’
