Paul ‘D’ Kid’ Andrews, singer/songwriter and band leader of D’ KICKERS is suddenly distress and in great panic; he’s unbearably looking at a young girl singing naked on stage in front of ogling old men. It’s a dream, a memory and a persistent nightmare that has been haunting his existence.

Sarah Payne had gone missing for more than a decade in Asheville, North Carolina and she’d been forgotten. Except bizarrely, Paul’s popular scandal ridden rock band is singing about her torments. Paul knew the gruesome secret and he entombed it in the past, but recent news of a murder in Ashville is threatening to expose everything. The dead victim was Elizabeth Payne, Sarah’s mother.

Paul had successfully been deceiving everyone, until now. He is in crisis, struggling between continually shielding a secret painful horrific past or to finally reveal his furtive involvement in the girl’s misfortune.
