A violent storm is raging and it’s the depths of night in the English Lake District.

Jake Stone, a middle-aged architect, is on his way to meet up with friends for a weekend of rock climbing when, in the surroundings of a forest, he stumbles upon the interrogation of an elderly man by three assailants. Frozen with fear in his hiding place he listens to their demands as they seek the whereabouts of an incriminating manuscript written by their victim and which they reveal threatens the life of anyone who knows of it. Jake’s life changes in an instant by a brutal murder and the perpetrators discovery that he has witnessed and overheard their every action.

Now Jake too is being hunted down, thrown into a world of scientific experimentation dating back over half a century and into a frightening world where those involved are now being eradicated.
