In this subcourse, Subcourse MED808, we shall view a drug in its treatment of specific ailments. We have included a section on biologicals and vitamins and minerals primarily because natural resistance, and vitamins and minerals can prevent as well as successfully treat disease, malnutrition, and vitamin deficiencies.

This subcourse is approved for resident and correspondence course instruction. It reflects the current thought of the Academy of Health Sciences and conforms to printed Department of the Army doctrine as closely as currently possible.
