After months of battle, in a high-profile divorce case, her marriage was finally over. Gone were the tears, the fighting and all the other drawbacks that her marriage brought her. Sasha had seen so many wonderful couples in love. They were happy and smitten with each other and she always wondered why she was never able to find that satisfaction and peace within her marriage.

As early on as a few months in, she knew it wouldn t last. Her husband wasn t the man she thought he was, but she stuck it out, afraid of the embarrassment that she would feel if she ended it so soon. That fear led to years and years of emotional and sexual abuse that was not what she expected marriage to be. She suffered in silence until she could take it no more.
