The human mind is wired for curiosity. And within every mind, there lies a question as complex as it is simple: Why? Why us? Why anything? Astronomy professor Grant Reed looks to the sky with this and other questions, but is fully intent on answering them. His desire to make the ultimate discovery - to understand what has never been understood - drives him forward in a relentless pursuit to be the greatest human discoverer of this age or any after.
