I was standing at the door of the restaurant - my heart was pounding in my chest. Had I still enough nerve to open the door and enter? I saw my hand reach out for the door-handle and pull, fingernails immaculately painted in a metallic cerise colour. A quick scan of the tables and I did not see her - every fibre of common-sense said,
"Run, Suzy, run!"
The battle was raging in my head, between self-preservation and desire - I could sense desire giving ground and I started to turn away. Her voice, soft feminine and hypnotic called out to me,
