Description

** This disc is for Computer Use Only **

The Golden Book of Chemistry Experiments written by Robert Brent and illustrated by Harry Lazarus, is a children's book. Published in 1960 it walk its young audience through the set up of a home home chemistry lab and how to conduct over 200 simple experiments. With over 200 color photos and clear easy-to-follow directions show junior chemists how to prepare a laboratory at home, how to buy and make apparatus, and how to set up fascinating, informative experiments. In addition, there are facts about famous chemists, their contributions in nature and industry.

The book removed from libraries on the grounds that the projects were deemed dangerous for the tender age of its original intended target audience. I would have to agree that you probably don't want your preteens making and igniting hydrogen in the garage, but for the aspiring chemists and properly supervised teenagers who can adhere to the safety precautions, this remains one of the best do-it-yourself chemistry books around.

Only 126 hard copies of this book are known to exist in libraries worldwide. Sometimes you can find this rare book for sale but copies are known to fetch as much as $700 or higher. You can now have you very own book in three formats Adobe PDF, Kindle Mobi and EPub so no matter your reader we have your format all on one disc!
