This Novel is going to demand a lot from you.

It's going to insist that you believe in magic, and in powerful demons, and immortal priestesses. It will require you to believe in Monsters and Mercs, and Dryads and witches It will make you believe that true love is real, and that a man in love will do anything to save his girl. It will also demand and insist that in spite of references to bus stations, cell phones, train schedules, vampires, and video games that it takes place in Feudal Japan.

If it's way too heavy for you - you just may want to read something else that makes sense. Because while this story is a fun ride, you'll enjoy it a great deal more if you simply let it be what it is and don't attempt to reason with it logically.

If you decide to read on, however, this story is divided into three parts. It spans hundreds of years. And the very last line in the book is possibly the best line you will ever read anywhere – but don’t read it first otherwise you won’t get it.
