Black Music White Britain is a book intended to celebrate the impact and influence of some of the greatest black music that has been embraced by music lovers in the UK. It's far from being a definitive book on the subject but does dip into some of the artists and bands and songs since the arrival of the SS Windrush and then across th 50's, 60's and 70's. The book takes into account many of the various genres from jazz, blues, soul, funk, reggae, ska, northern soul and more...it's all GREAT!
