Wasteland

In the not so distant future, a powerful elite controls the prison-industrial complex. For most of society, chemically-induced complacency passes for contentment but stops well short of happiness. A small group of rebels pushes back. When a grief-stricken and angry worker strikes out, he sets events in motion that imperil the nascent resistance and threaten to reveal the inner workings of a morally bankrupt society.
