Singapore to Iceland: 127 Days of Adventure

Singapore to Iceland is the daily chronicle of Jenny Spurlock’s 127 day trip that began in the sweltering humidity of Singapore and ended in Iceland. She spent four months traveling solo in between these two points, revisiting familiar cities and discovering new ones. In Singapore, she discovered a country propelling itself into the future of environmental sustainability against the architectural backdrop of steel and glass. In Iceland, she witnessed millions of years of geology written in the rocky alien landscapes when she traveled around the ring road. In between, she hugged a baby panda in China, zip-lined across the Dnieper river in Kyiv, and ended up on an overnight ferry to St. Petersburg without a Russian visa.
