本書『中国語で中国を読む』「中国　中国語　中国人」は、文字通り、世界中の中国語を学ぶ方の為に書いた読本です。私が十数年日本で、日本人及び外国人に中国語を教えてきた中で、もっとも感じたことは、適切な中国語の読本がないことです。授業中では、生徒に中国語の原文を読むことを勧めましたが、結果は中国語の本を読むとすぐ挫折してしまうということです。その原因は、本の内容やレベルが合わなかった為です。そのために、このような本を皆さんに書きたかったのです。なるべくみんなが読める簡体の漢字で、ピンイン、繁体字をつけることにより、読みやすくし、さらにみなさんの感心の多い話題について書いたものです。中国語で、中国のことが分かることにより楽しく継続できると考えています。
