After skipping out on the end of year party, Jean is called back to the office to work on New Year’s Eve. A secretary at a prestigious law firm, her boss has her come in to register an important case before its deadline at the end of the year. However, she becomes trapped when a security guard unwittingly locks her in the office. Thankfully, Frank Jacobs, the star lawyer of the firm, is stuck there as well after working late at night.

Trapped together, the two get to know each other as they wait for help. Jean learns that Frank’s success at work came at the cost of his personal life. The young but accomplished lawyer yearns for a life outside the walls of the courthouse. Money and a nice corner office have done little to lessen his need for companionship. As the year comes to an end, the two grow closer together. The two skipped out on the office’s New Year’s Eve party. Now, they’ll make up for a lost opportunity in each other’s arms.
