Time is running out. The rebels scramble to rally additional support in the coming fight against Captain Shaitan, but time may not be on their side. Shaitan is on a mission to find another ship and his experience with space travel gives the trader advantages over Edan and his friends. The young heroes race to Ubril aboard the captain’s former ship. They journey there to return an aging Chief to his beloved forests, with a hope of rallying the Imarians to their cause against the traders. They arrive in the midst of an apparent battle between the Imarians and their allies, the Nomadii. A lot happened in the months during the Imarian scouts’ disappearance, but their return might be enough to reunite the allies. Back on Tireme, Chieftain Silverbear hunts for the long lost kin of the Thirteen Tribes of the Moon while a small group of Shaitan’s men cause big problems for the rebel army. With their forces scattered between two planets and traders getting in the way, it looks like the rebels are in serious trouble. Will Edan bring reinforcements in time to defend Tireme against Shaitan and his new army of ruthless mercenary pirates?
