My New Boss

Things were going well for Kate, or at least they seemed to be. She’d just graduated college and she and Max were starting their life together. Max was… nice. Truthfully, Kate had never known anyone else that she could compare him to, but she had nothing major to complain about. He’d bullied her into quitting the only job she’d ever had with the promise he was a shoo-in for his new job and he could support them both. That might have worked, had she not found out he cheated on her.

Now she was on her own. Living in a tiny cabin with no job, and no idea what to do. And two neighbors that were both driving her crazy, but for very different reasons.
