Description
This is a fun guide to antidepressants. I talk about how they killed my feelings and made me happy even when I saw a beautiful girl and didn't approach her. Normally it would RUIN my day when I didn't take action.
Of course, during times when I lacked control, i.e. my parents want help with chores all-day and I didn't have control of my days, I was able to smile and STILL be happy. It was a special ability to be happy even in not so ideal circumstances. A way to "fast forward life to better days". I do plan to release a 2nd edition of this book should it get some decent sales.
First off, I am NOT a medical doctor. I am a computer programmer with a keen interested in the medical industry. I've taken TWO SSRIs antidepressants :Paxil and Cipralex. I cannot speak for the other SSRI antidepressants. I also combined antidepressants with Kratom (not recommended for human consumption). Kratom is considered a miracle herb for some, but again, if you wouldn't take steroids I would NOT recommend it.
If you go to a random walk-in clinic, and you've done a lot of Wikipedia research and antidepressants are not their expertise… you might even know more than your doctor. You will notice that some of the doctors tend to look things online and they might even come up with the same prescription as you. SSRIs stands for selective reuptake inhibitor. In my own words, this means basically keeping your serotonin receptors engaged. This would result in you being happier once your body adjusts to the dosage of the drug over a period of 1-2 weeks. I suspect, this may vary based on the individual based on their level of depression, body type, tolerance to the drugs, etc.
Each person has a pain threshold of suffering that they can go through. Sometimes during stressful times this becomes unbearable. This is where SSRIs come in to regulate your Mood, Sleep and Appetite. In particular, you will be feeling more happy. I can't speak for other countries. But I can say that in Toronto you simply tell the doctor that you are "depressed" and they will prescribe you antidepressants.
