Transatlanticism: A story of love, life and music.

When British student Tom meets Laura one fateful New Year's Eve the two form a connection that will change their lives forever. Staying up all night they bond over dreams, regrets, aspirations and a mutual love for all things music. In the span of just a few hours the two fall helplessly in love. However the one problem standing between them is the fact that Laura is set to return home to Texas in just a few days. Inevitably the challenges of time and distance push the pair apart from one another and for the next ten years they are guided down separate paths. That is until their individual journeys cross once more. But after so much time apart and with so much between the points of then and now can things ever really be the same? Can the spark that ignited so much in the pair of them ever be recaptured?
