Galjolthr is one of six of the mythical dragons – and everyone wants the glacial creature.

It is almost impossible for humans to see a dragon unless they are destined to do so or have the help of the Drakonicarum. The Drakonicarum is a magical book that tells you how to find, acquire, keep and kill a dragon. It also enlists all the names of the seers and skalds that have had the chance to see its pages.




Through the ages, many countries have searched for the dragon and the book. All kingdoms have sent their fiercest warriors to search for them; and all have failed. All of the warriors have come home deaf, disoriented, empty-handed or not come home at all.




The seers, dragon scholars and skalds can be heard chanting about the mystical creature and that only those with the unwavering heart of a fierce warrior will have the ability to see the Galjolthr.





In Denmark, the Viking Konungr, Ogmundr, is determined to find the Galjolthr at all costs and will kill anyone or anything that gets in his way. In England, King Raphael is destined to the Galjolthr and will protect him at all costs. And the fight is on.




As the years go by, Ogmundr continues to sit and wait as he knows that the glacial dragon is out there and will one day show himself. Ogmundr marries and has a son – Prince Erik. In the meantime, King Raphael lets Galjolthr build up his strength, which was harmed during his fights with the Vikings, as he waits for the right time to become a dragon master. During this time, King Raphael also marries and has a son – Prince Leo.




As the young princes grow older, Ogmundr grows restless. He has had his people following King Raphael for years and he knows that King Raphael has found Galjolthr and had two keys made for the dragons cavern. When a proclamation comes out that there will be a grand party in honor of Prince Leo, Ogmundr gathers his wife and son, Prince Erik, and the three travel to England.





In England, the two princes get along fine and begin wandering the castle with their mothers. During this time, two of Ogmundr’s men search for the keys to the cavern. At the same time, Prince Leo hears the voice of the keys calling to him and when he finds the men searching through the king’s things, he hollers for help. When the king hears this, he tries to get to his son and in the meantime is stabbed.




While the king lies dying, he passes over the kingdom to Prince Leo. And in the passing of the kingdom, King Raphael also passes the responsibility of Galjolthr. Prince Leo will do anything for his father and anything for Galjolthr.




Years after King Raphael has passed, Prince Leo goes to Denmark to avenge his father. However, Ogmundr has passed and left Prince Erik in charge. Prince Leo sees that Prince Erik is a gentle man and together the men vow to protect the Galjolthr. Prince Erik returns the keys to Prince Leo and Prince Leo in return offers one of the keys to Prince Erik.




Along with their children, Prince Leo and Prince Erik go on to rule their lands and take care of Galjolthr.
