Bhagavad Gita is a vast ocean and this author, diving deep into it, brings out the most valuable gems with pearls and crafts a nice necklace out of them as an offering to Krishna. The silver thread used to make this ornament is the humour that runs throughout the book. Hearty laughs are always a stress buster and the author has used them for understanding the lofty principles of the Gita. This technique also makes the remembering of the slokas a very smooth affair. Kudos to him!
The slokas in this book give the gist of Bhagavad Gita. The book contains 14 slokas, so effectively it is 20% slokas, 100% Gita. The bigger picture is not lost to the reader as the context is given in each sloka. As in all the books of our series ( Laugh and Learn Series ), humour is an in-built part of this book.
