While both Conner and Jeremiah is there to comfort her, it also comes with the pressure to decide which one of them she wants to be with.
When one of the guys finally confronts her and demands an answer once and for all, the answer she gives causes him to leave the safety of the farm broken hearted and out into the land of the undead.
With her life crashing down around her, Abby goes into a state of depression and soon realizes she made a big mistake and she sets out to begin her search for the guy who won her heart. Only this time, her journey proves to be even more dangerous than the last.

Jeremiah and his family has been thrown out of the farm and are now on their own. Jeremiah is heartbroken and desperately trying to make sense of why Abby has left him.
While Jeremiah is trying to deal with the heart break of losing the only girl he has ever loved, his parents are just trying to survive.
It's not long before a situation with the undead causes Jeremiah to snap out of his current daze and he eventually sets out to find Abby to talk to her. But what he finds instead is complete and utter devastation.
"Surviving the Dead"
When we last left Abby she had finally found Jeremiah. But she soon saw that one of the guys she loves, either Jeremiah or Conner, had been bitten while trying to rescue Ava.
As the group fights their way off of the farm, they try to find somewhere safe so they can tend to the wounded. But the dead are everywhere and it proves to be a challenge for Abby and the group.
The group finally finds shelter but it’s not too long before marauders find them and try to take their supplies, causing the groups death toll to rise.
As Abby’s losses start to add up, so does the tension within the group, causing Abby to question some of the others motives. While Abby wants to try and save everyone she can, no matter what the cost, the others are just trying to survive the dead.
