Daisy is new and does not expect to have her innocence questioned or to have to prove it. But when she becomes obviously aroused by her first medical examination, the doctor and Mr. Bellamy decide she is not as innocent as she seems, and she ought to be punished.

And when their brand of discipline does nothing to calm her, they determine she needs further physical treatment to relieve her symptoms in case she should disgrace the Bellamy good name with every Tom, Dick and Harry who calls to deliver bread or meat below stairs...
