I'm the nerdy supergenius, and I accept it. Frankly considering all the women I'm surrounded I'm just glad you remembered me in the first place. It's hard to compete with our ghostly Janine's supermodel figure, Katy's naughty goth witch look, or even the firm and fit bit of dark chocolate that is our resident lesbian werewolf Danika. Of course there's also Penny...nobody ever forgets Penny. The superhot redheaded sociopathic vampire with a video game addiction. It's hard to get a date when all your friends get all the attention.

So you're probably asking yourself, "What did the Midnight Squad do after the first book." Well it's simple. We were now world famous, and so we cashed in like KISS. We put our faces and names on anything and everything from sports drinks to t-shirts to condoms. Now we're rich and famous, and that's so much better than just being famous. There's just one problem. There's this secret group that calls themselves The Darkness, and they've been keeping everything about vampires and werewolves hidden from the world. So they aren't happy. In fact they are about as far from happy as you can get. They are the thing that scares the monsters, but luckily we have Grim...who kind of scares everybody. He's the ruggedly handsome former soldier who has very recently become the horseman of the apocalypse Death. Sure he's a little crazy...okay he's a lot crazy, but he has a big heart. Now I'm not going to tell you what happens, I hate spoilers, but this is one crazy ride. If you liked the first book then you'll probably like this one. It's full of all the sexy paranormal comedy you loved in the first book. I loved the first book. My only complaint was that everyone else got some hot and steamy scenes except me. Of course I'm just the nerdy girl so why would I get any BOW to my CHIKKA WOW WOW...still a girl can hope.
