The year is AD 2082. For fifteen years the earth has been ruled by an empire based on the planet Saturn. Contrary to consensus, the gas giants turned out to be habitable beneath their gas canopies.
After a swift attack, the alien conquerors forced the survivors into walled city-states. Each planet in our star system was then surrounded by numerous space warps: large, cylinder-shaped “worm holes” that make interplanetary travel possible. Any attempt at rebellion will bring a full invasion through these “space bridges.”
The Saturnians want to add Mars to their “family of worlds.” It was a surprise to learn that Mars was inhabited after the attacks on the space warps around that planet. The earth-based League of Resistance saw an opportunity in this situation. They want war, but it could mean another planet-wide catastrophe.
Doctor Isaac finds himself in the position of accepting the status quo, or rebelling. If he were to rebel along with his younger friends Captain Bruce Macintyre and Vickie Powell, how could so small a force possibly overcome such overwhelming odds?
